Focus on Embedded Computing

This year’s Embedded Computing Conference was once again a success. Now in its eighth year at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur, it has even surpassed the organizers expectations in terms of the number of participants.

Embedded Computing

Roughly 400 professionals flocked to Winterhur to attend technical lectures about current technologies and trends of hardware, communication, software and tools and to explore the products of 33 industrial companies and 5 universities at the accompanying exhibition.
Hoffmann + Krippner Switzerland, represented for the first time with its own booth, could not complain about a lack of interest. The topic highlighted were touch interfaces, MMI, GUI and HMI. Presented for the first time was also the Panel PC specially developed in cooperation with the Paderborn Embedded specialist Janz Tec.
Surprisingly, the illuminated keyboards attracted much attention due to its unique appeal at this event dominated by touch technology.
