With the new dual management of Ralf Krippner and Stefan Kieser, H+K is pursuing a new long-term strategy. The new executive team, consisting of CSO Frank Wahlandt and CTO Erhard Muench, aims for growth at all locations and associated companies within the HK Group. At H+K in Buchen, the focus remains on input solutions with touchscreens and electronics, sensors and printed electronics. TES Frontdesign in Neuruppin focuses on metal processing and glass. Industrialpartners in Frankfurt and Helicom in Muenster take on project management. design and development.
New technologies include printed electronics, glass for touch input and electronics for interconnected devices in the area of IoT (Internet of Things). The HK Group is focusing its attention on needs and requirements of medium-sized customers in the fields of input, sensor technology and IoT connectivity, thereby significantly expanding its portfolio in these growing applications. The partnership-based cooperation with suppliers and customers ensures individual complete solutions in times of Industry 4.0 and digitization.
The production capabilities are currently being expanded at H+K and TES Frontdesign. H+K is getting a new two-story building with over 4,000 sqm for screen printing and optical bonding (the bonding of cover glass, touchscreen and display in a clean room) in Buchen. TES in Neuruppin is currently developing a 750 sqm expansion for metal processing and powder coating. The investment amounts to more than 6.5 million euros and is a testament to absolute intend to further expand the market position - especially in times of difficult developments in the global economy.
